Wedding photographer in Kent. An engagement session with Sarah & Tim.

wedding photographer in kent

Well what can I say... I had such a brilliant evening with Sarah & Tim just over a week ago. They booked me for an engagement shoot ahead of their wedding next month in Scotland which I am so excited about!!

They met me near my house in London and we drove out the Kent countryside. The talk to start was all things wedding and I am so looking forward to seeing the vision for their day come to life, its going to mega! We started in High Elms Country Park which is such a beautiful place and its so close to London, well worth a visit.

As ever with all couples the first 20mins into a shoot are always a little awkward. I need to work out the couple in front of me and my couple need to ease into something that is uncomfortable for so many people. As ever my end goal is always authenticity which is why the way I work is always an engagement between me and couple. We walk, we talk, we get to know one another and my job is to get them to a place where they can show up as who they are.

And Sarah & Tim showed up! They are so in love with one another and both have such wonderful sense of humours it was impossible to not photograph them beautifully. The scenery and lovely sunny evening just added to that perfectly.

After High Elms we went for a drive around the countryside and we found a couple more amazing spots to grab some photos, I really love Sarah & Tim's sense of adventure and enthusiasm for creating some great images together. It's the only expectation I have of my couples is that they trust me and want to create something amazing.

I love all of these photos, its where I get my reward as a wedding photographer and its what brings the joy to my work. I am so lucky that this what I get to do for people.

Can't wait for the wedding! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend and enjoy the photos.
