A personal look back over June.
So it's taken me a couple of weeks to get this look back over June out on the blog but here it is! June was flat out busy with sooo much travel but it was a lot of fun. I attended 5 weddings in total, one I was witness for at the Chelsea Town Hall with a lovely war veteran called Walter as the couple were eloping in secret. Three were the huge fun events I always love capturing and then I went to my cousin's wedding in Devon as a guest!
One of the weddings was in Scotland and doing 1200 miles in the 4 days I was away for was definitely one of my bigger challenges but it was so worth it. That wedding will be coming to the blog soon but for now here are some of the landscapes I captured there from around Perthshire and The Trossachs.
June was also a very exciting month for me personally. I achieved something I never believed I could. I backed my beautiful Lusitano mare Pearl. It had actually been months and months of work to get her ready but it all came together in June when I started to ride her properly. She initially didn't understand what going forward meant and it took a couple of days to get her moving confidently with me on board but she was such a good horse. It's one of those terrifying and exciting experiences where you hand your life over to half a ton of young animal and pray they are going to accept what is happening. Onwards and upwards now though as it's time to start enjoying the countryside from her back.
July is really shaping up to be a very exciting month as well. I have a fairly big life event happening which I will fill you in about in August but for now I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and the summer.... I do hope we get a bit of rain though!
