Camberwell arms and southwark registry office wedding

I am still completely in love with micro weddings, especially London micro weddings. I love that I get to spend so much time in all the beautiful town halls and registry offices the city has to offer. And this intimate wedding at Southwark Registry Office and then The Camberwell Arms was just wonderful to photograph.

Sarah & Tomas wanted a relaxed but fun day with everyone they are closest to and they wanted their wedding photography to reflect that so actually chose to have no group photos which I love. I met Sarah at the place they were all getting ready to capture the last few moments of prep. I am completely in love with Sarah’s stunning wedding dress from The Own Studio, it was perfect.

We then travelled to Southwark where everyone was waiting. The ceremony was simple but lovely and the staff here are always so welcoming and thoughtful. We spent a little time in the garden after for hugs and congratulations before having some confetti out the front.

And from there it was an easy walk over to the Camberwell Arms where we grabbed some couple photos along the way. Everyone had some welcome drinks downstairs to start. This pub is so beautiful, a timeless but modern feel to the decor and the light is perfect for capturing lots of candid moments.

Before I left them to it, everyone headed upstairs to take their seats for the meal and have some speeches. If people book me for a 3hr micro wedding package then I always suggest putting your speeches before you eat so I can be there to capture them, so many great moments happen during this time.
