Charterhouse School, Surrey Wedding with Katie and Adrian
Happy Monday! I am really excited about sharing this lovely Charterhouse School wedding from 2021. And because it means I am two weddings away from finishing blogging 2021 weddings and then we can start to show off 2022. This beautiful autumn wedding is definitely a favourite though.
Katie & Adrian are so incredibly lovely and perfect for one another, it was a joy working with them. They chose Charterhouse School in Surrey as their wedding venue because it’s where they first met when Adrian used to work there as a teacher. What then followed was some long distance communication as Katie went back to the states before Adrian made the brave decision to drop everything and move over there when lockdown was announced. And then 18 months later they got married where it all began.
Charterhouse School is a great venue for a wedding. First of all total Harry Potter vibes, especially in the South African Cloisters which was a beautiful space for group photos and couple shots. Speaking of which I love how these two chose to do that part. Katie & Adrian opted for a first look before the ceremony in the church on site. We then got all of their group photos and couple photos done before the ceremony so the rest of the day was theirs to enjoy without the photography taking them away from anything.
The whole day was just so much fun and so filled with love. It was also the most perfect of Autumn days and we had some stunning light. October is always my favourite month for a wedding.
It was also a total joy to work with Natalie Ellen Weddings. Natalie is an incredible wedding planner who kept everything organised and stress free for everyone. I always feel like a wedding planner is a sensible decision if you want to relieve some of the stress that weddings can create, especially for on the day management and Natalie is someone I would 100% recommend.
