London wedding photographer at Islington Town Hall with Rachael & Tom.

I am going to say it again…

I am loving these London micro weddings! They have been a real source of joy for me this year when there has been so many challenges.

As a London wedding photographer when the pandemic hit in March I thought that I wouldn’t get to photograph any weddings in 2020 but the resilience of love won and couples said “fuck you Covid we are getting married anyway.”

I loved all of these small weddings and I still have two more to look forward to before the year is out.

Today though I am bringing you the wonderful autumnal wedding of Rachael & Tom.

We started at Islington Town Hall for the ceremony and I captured some moments outside as everyone met up beforehand. Rachael also looked AMAZING in her Vanessa Cocchiaro dress and a killer pair of green velvet platforms.

The ceremony was short but sweet as they all have been this year but I do love that hallway for a few couple photos after. I have done several weddings now at Islington during the pandemic and they have handled this situation amazingly.

We then roamed the streets of Islington for couple photos and yeh sure it was raining a bit but I feel like that added to the day plus I always love the colours when everything is a bit wet.

Off we then went to The Canonbury for a small but perfect reception of 15 and some seriously excellent speeches. I love speeches, always have done and always will simply because you get so many moments of emotion and fun.

I then left them all to it to enjoy food and good company. I would say the most crucial ingredients for a good wedding. It was a perfect day and a total pleasure to photograph.
