Wedding photo of the week. Sixteen.

Eastwell manor wedding photography

So today is Global Love Day so of course image of the week was going to be super hard to choose for me! I can give you an endless supply of photos filled with endless amounts of love because weddings are the ultimate representation of love. Choosing just one is near on impossible.

Weddings are an event where we bring together everyone who we love to celebrate two people who love each other enough to commit the rest of their lives to one another. That’s why I love photographing weddings as I am a big lover of love. I adore my job because I get to be witness to the most magic of moments created from that spine tingling deep rooted adoration of another person.

So when I tried to think of a singular image that I loved that could represent this I sat there a little stuck. I have so many and all of my couples are clearly madly head over heels for each other. I settled on this one though.

Jemma & Mark got married last year at Eastwell Manor in Kent, it was an AMAZING day and it really was special because their wedding bought together people from all corners of the globe with Jemma being American and both of them working around the world in the hospitality industry.

The love these two have runs deep. Deep enough that for most of their relationship they had lived apart in different countries because of their work. In fact, I had to do their video meetings separately because of this. I am in awe of that. That a bond between two people can run deep enough to survive a long term, long distance situation is just incredible.

When I met them in person a couple of weeks before the wedding though it was so clear that they were made for each other. I loved every single image from this wedding at Eastwell Manor but I have chosen this one because it’s the first dance. I always love that part of the day because most couples despite nerves seem to forget everyone else for a minute and focus fully on each other while everyone else looks on with love and happiness for the couple.

I love how Mark is singing to Jemma and for a minute they are just totally lost in one another.
