Wedding photo of the week. Seventeen.

How are we all doing? This week has definitely been a challenging one. Some pretty major personal things have happened for me this week and left my head slightly reeling and I am so desperately missing my job. These sunny bank holiday weekends have got me desperately wishing for fun filled wedding days to photograph. I am sure all my couples are feeling the same way right now and I know how wonderfully happy those weddings are going to be when they do happen.

This is why I have chosen a confetti photo today for wedding photo of the week. I absolutely love this one from Jazii & Sam’s stunning Pembroke Lodge wedding in 2018. The room was so packed full of their family and friends that coming back down the aisle was a bit of a squeeze and it made the confetti throw even more fun.

I honestly don’t know where the idea came from to throw stuff at a newly married couple but I love it. It’s such a fun moment during the wedding, a wedding tradition that I don’t think will ever age and I can’t wait for all the confetti throws I am going to get to photograph once we can all celebrate together again.
