A stunning Hindu wedding at Loft Studios in London with Arjun & Lucy
I don’t actually know where to start with this wedding. It was EPIC.
My very first Hindu wedding and I loved every single second. Lucy & Arjun are the most lovely people and so were their friends and family. This was the type of celebration that as a wedding photographer I didn’t want to leave.
Lucy & Arjun held their day at the amazing Loft Studios in West London. I was very excited about working in this space as it’s a gem of a city venue with a huge warehouse style space and lots of great light.
The day kicked off with bridal prep and I loved capturing Lucy and her favourite people getting ready. Their sari’s were so beautiful and everyone looked amazing. It was then time for Arjun’s entrance which was one of the parts of the day I was most excited about. Arriving on a rickshaw with his friends and family dancing on the street with drums, colour and smoke bombs was just incredible and I love this fast pace for photographing in, it’s a massive adrenaline rush.
The ceremony was beautiful and emotional with so many different elements and I can’t wait to experience more Hindu ceremonies in the future.
It was then drinks and photos for a couple of hours and we headed down to the canal to grab some couple photos. The area around Loft studios doesn’t look like much but there are some great elements in the area to get creative with.
Next up was food, speeches and party. And what a party it was. The dancefloor was going off straight after the first dance and I wound up staying an hour later as it was just too much fun! I loved Lucy & Arjun’s evening outfits and their custom Puma trainers.
Basically this day was everything and more and I delighted to be sharing it on the blog today. Enjoy.
