A relaxed family photographer in London with a lovely Kensington shoot.

I can’t believe how long ago this shoot was now. I am not entirely sure where the year has gone tbh. This time last year the lovely Carynne got in touch with me all the way from Canada to see about a family photo shoot in London in February this year. They were travelling with their young son and wanted to capture some memories along the way.

I was of course more than happy to help them with that and a plan was formed for us to go and explore the beautiful streets of Kensington.

The thing is with photographing kids Sebastian’s age is that you have very little control. They very much have their own agenda and ideas of what they want to do which to some photographers is their worst nightmare, for me personally I love it as it pushes me and my creativity. Everything is more of a reaction to whatever happens next and thinking quick to get the best light and composition before the moment is over.

I really loved hanging with the Chan family on their visit to London and I also love the images we captured together, they are happy little memories of a special trip together.
