Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographer with Cassandra & Mike
Another week and another stunning London micro wedding for the blog.
This time we are back at Marylebone Town Hall in London for the super lovely wedding of Cassandra & Mike. It’s actually quite hard to write a lot about a wedding you only spend an hour at. It’s been a strange old year.
However, let’s touch briefly on the great news this week. I think the phrase is cautiously optimistic but I on the other hand am feeling very optimistic. Yes we have a good 4 months to go BUT this plan seems sensible and the vaccine is rolling out so fast!
We could see weddings back in all their glory by the 21st June.
Yes we know it could all go wrong, none of us have forgotten the rollercoaster of a pandemic BUT it could also all go right and the biggest plus is that for the first time in the last 12months the wedding industry has a road map out of this. Meaning couples can start to plan.
Weddings are going to be able to start again on the 8th March with ceremony only and then the 12th April will see the reintroduction of receptions with 15 guests and then 30 from the 17th May. So going back to micro weddings I think I still have a few more of these ahead of me before my first full wedding back on the 24th June.
A full wedding! I haven’t done one of those since 2019, it’s going to be emotional.
Anyway back to Cassandra & Mike. They chose an early morning ceremony at Marylebone for them and their 15 guests. We had other family members watching over live stream and Cassandra looked amazing in Needle & Thread dress.
As with all Covid weddings the ceremony was brief but lovely and the best bit about this being a winter wedding and relatively early in the morning was that the light was absolutely magic.
We ran off quickly for some couple photos behind the hall and everything was just so beautiful.
It was once again a total joy to be a part of this special day for these two.
