Wedding photo of the week. Three.

wedding photographer in surrey

So we are on to week three! My consistency so far in 2020 is on form! I am also on day 17 of running everyday for Marie Curie so getting this out as well makes me feel very proud of myself. Today’s image is more of an aesthetic favourite as opposed to emotional. Although I think all wedding photos are emotional.

This one I love because firstly it shows how that even in the wind and the rain you can amazing wedding photos. Alice & Matt’s Surrey wedding is still my wettest wedding to date and I still love the photos which were featured by Wedding Ideas magazine last year.

The other reasons I love this image is because it was one of those moments that just came together perfectly for me. That’s the thing with documentary wedding photography you are constantly on the look out for ways to tell the story as interestingly as possible and this is one of those images for me.

We had literally just managed to get Alice & Matt’s big group photo done before the heavens opened and everyone made a dash for cover. And I love this moment of Alice with her white umbrella and veil blowing in the wind while being framed by everyone else’s darker clothing, it sums up that moment in time perfectly and of course it couldn’t be anything other than a black and white image.

So there you go, week three! I will see you next week for week four but before then I have got a very exciting guest blog coming out for you as well.

Alice’s beautiful dress btw was by Jesus Piero and sold to her by Miss Bush Bridal in Surrey.
