London wedding photographer

“I first saw Ami’s beautiful pictures when she photographed a friends wedding ( a whole 2 years before I was even engaged) and from that moment I knew one day I would hopefully ask her to to photograph my wedding! Fast forward a few years and Ami’s pictures where everything I had ever hoped for - she captured our day in such a natural way which is exactly what we wanted and most importantly all our pictures beam love and happiness - Ami was a pleasure to have on our day - super organised and made us feel special from Day 1 - I want to do it all again!”

What I do for you...

Every year in the UK around 250,000 people get married and I exclusively only work with 15-20 wonderful couples in that time.
The reason I keep it small is so each and every couple I work with gets my full attention, before, during and after the wedding.
Previous couples have become life long friends because of the love and care I put into the work that I do and delivering a high standard of service is just as important to me as delivering amazing photographs.

I class myself as a documentary wedding photographer and my goal for you as your wedding photographer is that you have an amazing wedding day with the photography having minimal impact on you enjoying yourselves with the people you love but that you still come away with the most incredible photographs to remember it all by. This is why my approach is always relaxed and I never aim to feel like the ‘photographer’ more a friend with a camera who is really good at taking photos!

Of course everyone needs a few group photos and we will disappear for 20mins to grab some couple photos and so you guys can relax together for a minute but I will never have you stood around for hours on end or force you into any cheesy poses.

By working with me you will come away with photos that tell the real and wonderful story of your wedding day.

FAQS

What is my wedding photography style?

My wedding photography is mostly natural and creative in style. I capture the story in the most authentic way possible and while a lot of my work is candid, I still believe strongly in the importance of the family formals which I keep light and organised so no one is standing around for ages. As for couple photos that time is for you both to be amazing together and I don't pose, just gentle prompts that get you both showing the real relationship between you both.

Where are you based?

I am based in Folkestone, Kent but cover London & the whole of the UK. My prices all include travel fees to mainland UK.

How long do you stay on my wedding day?

Depends on the package you book.

Is there a limit on the number of photographs we receive and who owns the copyright?

There is no limit to the number of images – every quality image is edited and given to you. I don't simply look at my images from a technical level – there is very much an emotional side to my editing and I don't keep anything back. For an English wedding, the average is around 800-1000 images. Copyright for every image remains with me (standard for wedding photography) but you have the rights to unlimited printing and sharing of every shot.

Are you insured?

Yes. I have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

What camera(s) do you use?

I use two cameras – both are professional Sony bodies. I also have a good selection of telephoto and prime lenses (all under 2.8) and flash guns. I have invested a lot in my equipment, ensuring I can deal easily with any challenge I encounter at a wedding.

How do we book you?

First, get in touch via the contact page and give me as much detail as you can about you and about your day. After that, we will meet up, either in person or on Skype. When you're 100% happy that I'm the photographer for you, I will send an invoice and a contract. Upon receipt of the signed contract and the booking fee, your date is confirmed.

How long will we have to wait for our photos?

Four weeks after your wedding, you will receive access to your shots in a private online viewing gallery where you can download all of your images in high resolution ready for printing as big as you like. Because I shoot only a limited number of weddings every year, I do not get backed up with editing, meaning I can produce your images in this timescale.
