Smedmore House wedding photography with Ione & Nathan.

Smedmore House Wedding Photography

January is all about blogging the beautiful weddings from last year. Last wedding season was such a whirlwind for wedding photographers, I know that I definitely didn’t get much of an opportunity to take it all in as couples were finally able to celebrate. Which makes going over my work again such a joy.

Today I am sharing Ione & Nathan’s stunning day at Smedmore house in Dorset. These two had to postpone from 2020 and it was obviously such a blow when it became apparent that restrictions weren’t going to be fully lifted by the time their new date came around. That however didn’t stop them from having the most wonderful day. You would never have been able to tell that they could only have 30 guests at their wedding.

These guys and their nearest and dearest really bought it.

This is my second wedding at Smedmore House and it is definitely one of my favourite venues. It sits right on the edge of the Jurassic Coastline meaning you can have your ceremony with a view of the sea and that’s exactly what Ione & Nathan did.

It was then drinks and mini golf before heading into the yurt for dinner, speeches and more fun.

I loved the personal touches as well, like Ione’s dad made their wedding cake making it an even more special moment when they cut it.

We were also given a beautiful sunset and Ione’s bridesmaids had made some personalised denim jackets so we got some shots with those as well as couple photos. It could not have been a more perfect and fun day and I am so excited to share some of my favourite images on the blog.

Enjoy.
