Hackney Town Hall & MKII Clapton wedding photographer with Elliott & Tim

Stop what you are doing and go get a cup of tea/wine/vodka as I am about to take you on the wild and wonderful ride that was Elliott & Tim’s wedding.

I am sure wedding photographers everywhere will remember Saturday 24th July 2021 as it was the very first time we could shoot a wedding without restrictions in nearly 18 months. I for one will never forget this day. The anticipation in the build up, is it really going to happen? But it did and I got to shoot a wedding that will forever leave joy imprinted on my heart.

This was the wedding to end all weddings and every single part of it was beautifully curated by Elliott & Tim. From the insane decor designed by set designer Elliott to the endless bottles of homemade strawberry daiquiri and espresso martini.

We had a very early start with a 10am ceremony at Hackney Town Hall because well they were pretty booked up on that day but that just meant more wedding for us. It was perfect and one of my favourite images is everyone crying outside on the steps. Yes I take joy in other people’s tears, but only the happy ones.

We then walked over to MKII in Clapton for the most joyful afternoon of food, booze, drag queens and partying. I mean the venue even has a swing. What Elliott did to the space was just incredible, if you know me I am not one to get all giddy over the decor but this took my breath away and set the scene for one of my most memorable weddings.

I don’t really think I can use anymore words to encapsulate this day, the photos do just that though. Enjoy and take heed that making your wedding your own and personal to you is the best way.
