What a whirlwind of a start to wedding season.
After 5 months off and annoying myself I was desperate to get stuck in to this years weddings. I have been on countdown. 5 months away from doing what you love with all your heart is painful.
So the season kicked off in Buckinghamshire with the amazing Abbey & Matt. They chose the jaw dropping Notley Abbey as the spot to celebrate their wedding day. What a setting, especially with the perfect spring weather we had. The blossom, the tree lined drive way, the fairy lights in the Monks' Refectory all provided that amazing soft romantic feel to the day.
It was basically a dream and so filled with authenticity. Abby & Matt are absolutely made for one another.
Abby looked incredible in her dress which suited her perfectly and THAT hair piece! She was perfectly whimsical and beautiful. And Matt looked pretty good too in his tweed. I always love it when couples really put their personality into the details.
We had so much fun throughout the day especially during the two couple sessions we did, these guys rocked it and it was in no way difficult to capture them both together.
All of their guests were in top form as well, we breezed through the group photos and I was treated to some lovely speeches and a great atmosphere while everyone celebrated this special day.
I can't thank Abby & Matt enough for having me as their wedding photographer, I am never great with words but I really hope you both love this preview and I can't wait to show you the rest.
