“I knew from our first date that she was the one I would marry”
So here we have the amazing wedding day of Maggie and Robert. Honestly these two are just wonderful and how they celebrated their wedding was completely perfect for who they are.
I first met them when one of my August couples the lovely Elise & Marwan put me in touch with them last year and as soon as I met them we hit it off, I knew that being their wedding photographer was completely the right thing for all of us.
And I wasn't wrong. Working with them through their engagement shoot right the way to dancing at their wedding has been nothing but a pleasure and I am so excited to share this preview.
I started the day at the very relaxed bridal prep over in Lewisham with Maggie, her parents and her Bridesmaids where I captured the details and one of my favourite 'Dad seeing his daughter in her dress' moments to date :)
We then had a Limo drive over to Southwark Registry Office (one of my favourite London Registry Office's) for what was definitely an emotional ceremony. Every reason why these two are together showed up, it was honestly perfect.
All 26 of us then bundled into some more Limo's and headed across London to Davy's at Canary Wharf. This place is a little bit of a gem for those having a small London wedding. An intimate and amazing lunch was had in the private dining room and it was honestly such a perfect atmosphere and the food was amazing!
I had no doubt that the speeches were going to be an emotional and authentic affair and I wasn't wrong. All of them from Maggie's Dad to Tom the best man gave perfect tributes to this wonderful couple.
Then on to the reason I was ridiculously excited to have a wedding at Canary Wharf! The couple photos. The diversity of this area is perfect. You everything from green and leafy parks, to the tube station (yes I said tube station) to the skyline of some of Londons most iconic buildings. And despite the slight cold Maggie & Rob were amazing to photograph.
