A winter wedding at Marylebone Town Hall in London.
I love a winter wedding! And I especially love a winter wedding in London. I also love Marylebone Town Hall, one of the most iconic London wedding venues. So I am very excited to show off this beautiful and intimate wedding from a couple of winters ago.
Marina & Thomas had their legal ceremony on wet London day ahead of a bigger celebration in Spain the following year and I was delighted to capture this part of their celebration. 16yrs into my career and I fall in love more and more with these smaller days. There is something special about just gathering a few of your nearest and dearest, having a ceremony and then a yummy lunch together.
So much less pressure and more space for joy and love.
This day had all of that including some iconic London drizzle.
I met them at a hotel nearby for first looks, drinks and hugs before we all walked over the the town hall in the rain together and no spirits were dampened ;)
The ceremony was short but sweet and after we had a BIG confetti throw outside before doing some group and couple photos in the local area which is beautiful in all weathers.
We then walked over to Clarette which is a gorgeous wine bar and restaurant with a really lovely private room upstairs. I would massively recommend this place for anyone having an intimate wedding at Marylebone. M&T chose to have one of their speeches before they ate so I could capture it for them. When people book my 3hr package this is what I recommend and then I can leave you alone to eat :)
