A beautiful family photo shoot in Richmond Park.

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you are all well?

I thought I would share something I haven’t shared for a while, a family shoot.

I never really market the fact I do family shoots as word of mouth is often my biggest marketing tool with these. That being said I do love the images I capture on these shoots. I always approach them from a super relaxed documentary approach. I have long learnt that kids do not like to be controlled and me trying to control them is never a positive experience for me or them. So I much prefer the lets go and have some fun and see what happens approach.

And that’s exactly what Juliette and her beautiful family wanted last winter. AGAIN I LOVE family shoots in the winter. I mean the light, colours and rosy cheeks plus snotty noses are something that makes up the beautiful normality of family life and why shouldn’t that be documented??

We met at Richmond Park for the shoot and the weather was on our side with sunshine and stunning winter light. We went for a walk around the woods and take my hat off to the little ones as it was bloody freezing and they were on such good form.

Love all of these images because this is what family life looks like. There is so much love and it’s authentic and that is what makes me excited as a family photographer.
