I am returning to Bingham Riverhouse next weekend for a wedding so I thought now was the perfect time to blog Steph & Rob’s wonderful wedding day there last year. I loved spending the day with these two and their relaxed day is my favourite type of wedding.

Steph & Rob wanted a wedding day with plenty of room for everyone to just enjoy themselves. And the Bingham Riverhouse is the perfect wedding venue for that. They have everything you need in one place. Beautiful bedrooms for prep, a stunning garden and indoor space for ceremony, drinks, food and party plus it’s right by the river Thames in Richmond so lots of opportunity for photos.

The day started with prep which Steph had with her bridesmaids. Steph got her dress from Whistles and its simplicity was beautifully perfect and Steph felt like herself which is the most important thing.

The ceremony was emotional and joyful and it was followed by a lot of confetti as Steph & Rob made their exit. All the hugs outside as well which is a favourite to capture. While I will always suggest we do your group photos relatively soon after the ceremony I always leave time for this moment as you won’t get that again during the day.

The afternoon was spent with drinks outside mostly, apart from when we dodging the rain and I loved that they opted for a buffet with no seating plan which kept things really nice and relaxed before some emotional speeches. It was then on to cake and party. Their cake was by one of my favourites Greenfox bakery and I loved the cute toppers by Fudge & Mabel.

Also, one of my favourite photos from last year was of Steph partying while eating cake. That is how you do your wedding :)
