Cotswolds wedding photographer at Leys Farm, Swerford.

I can’t remember the last time I photographed a wedding in the Cotswolds. It’s not my usual stomping ground. However, I was very excited to head over that way for Hollie & Jonny’s wedding earlier this summer. They first got in touch earlier this year because they had been struggling to find a photographers work they really connected with and something about mine had obviously done it for them because they booked over the phone.

They had the most beautiful day.

I started with Hollie in the morning for an almost to relaxed prep until we all realised where the time had gone but everyone was still on time. Sadly the families defender also didn’t quite make it so it’s the first wedding I have had a bride rock up in a transit van. These things all ultimately make for a good story and Hollie was on time to the stunning Combe St Laurence Church.

Post ceremony we had a huge confetti throw before we headed over to Great Tew to visit Quince & Clover for ice cream. I loved that we did this as it’s a favourite spot for Hollie & Jonny.

Our final destination of the day is absolutely amazing Leys Farm in Swerford. This family owned venue only takes on around two weddings a year. You have stunning views, a lake and it’s run by the nicest family. Everything you need for an outdoor, relaxed wedding.

Hollie & Jonny really didn’t want to be stood around for ages having their photo taken, being able to enjoy their day was really important to them and they really did enjoy themselves. This type of energy always means that the candid coverage is going to be amazing and I love what I captured.
