My first couple shoot after lockdown with Amy & Giles.

Surrey wedding photograher

So with Covid and all the wedding postponements i was genuinely worried I wouldn’t get to work with a couple again in 2020! And then some restrictions were relaxed and shoots were able to happen again!

Most of my couples this year have now postponed to 2021 which makes me sad but I am also grateful for how wonderful each and everyone of my couples this year as even though this has been so horrendously stressful for all of us, each and every one of my couples have been amazing and worked with me to muddle through this new normal.

Some these wonderful couples agreed that we could still do something positive this year though and have a couple shoot. After the mental strain of lockdown something happy was definitely needed.

Amy & Giles were meant to be getting married on the 28th May this year at The Royal Chapel at Windsor with a reception at Great Fosters instead we are going to be celebrating next May and I can’t wait.

We decided that a couple shoot would a great way to see each other again but also to create something special despite all that has happened this year.

We decided on Newlands Corner in Surrey for the shoot and while the weather wasn’t great we still had a great time creating these images.

It was so so lovely to hang with these two and I am once again so grateful to be working with such brilliant people and I can’t wait for the wedding.
