Wedding photographer in Suffolk with Emma & Bryn and their cosy wedding at Five Acre Barn.

Suffolk wedding photographer

2022 is now officially winding down for wedding photography! I have just two more weddings to photograph before I have a few weeks off which means lots of blogging is going to be happening. I am so close to getting out all of my 2021 weddings and then I will be making a start on showing off 2022, you can also expect my best of 2022 to drop early in the new year.

But today lets chat about Emma & Bryn :) I LOVED these two and they booked me just before the pandemic hit with the full intention of having an intimate wedding in Suffolk before those became a thing. I love small weddings/elopements, getting married doesn’t have to be a big event. It can be a small cosy day with those you love best.

And that’s what this wedding was.

We started off in the morning for a walk along the beach with the whole wedding party and dogs which was just lovely and I love that Emma & Bryn chose to have this part of the day documented. It was beautiful and blustery with some pretty big weather looming.

So this wedding is also the perfect example of a wet wedding. It rained all day. Very dramatically. But that didn’t stop the loveliness. We started with some prep at the stunning Five Acre Barn now these guys don’t market themselves as a wedding venue BUT they are actually the perfect place for an intimate wedding where you can everything in one place.

Love Hair by Lou was on hair duty doing an amazing job as ever and Emma (a woman after my own heart) did her own hair and makeup AND made her wedding dress.

The ceremony was beautiful, personal and conducted by a close friend. The whole thing was beautifully framed and decorated by the work of Catherine Short Floral Design, one of my favourite florists. Post ceremony Emma & Bryn served everyone tea and cake and we attempted some couple photos outside in the crazy weather before everyone headed into the kitchen for speeches and the most amazing meal by FEAST.

The evening was then finished off with sparklers outside. I absolutely loved this wedding and how Emma & Bryn broke all rules and made the day completely their own. Here are a few favourites.
