Wedding photo of the week. Six.

So how has everyone’s week been? Mine has been ok, I am happy to be back in London and I have had some amazing meetings this week with couples getting married this year. I am beyond excited for weddings to kick off and for the bookings that are coming in.

I also got a little sick again but that’s ok, it was my own fault for running too soon so going to take a month off and just focus on yoga and strength training. I think it’s because of the cold and my poor lungs just obviously doesn’t like it yet.

I also spent yesterday helping the brilliant Grania from Ink & Paper set up her stand for The Most Curious wedding fair and it was great to see so many industry friends again like Devine Bride and Perfectly Planned 4 You and so many others. I will be heading back tomorrow to help Grania again and also do some photos for people. This has been my first ever wedding fair experience and I am in awe of the creativity!

So back to the point of this post. It’s week six of photo of the week! Again so proud of my consistency. Today we are rolling back to 2017 with Emily & Will’s gorgeous Kent wedding at Mountains Country House. I still remember when Emily booked me, she rang me super excited because she had been following me for two years before she even got engaged and knew that I was meant to be her wedding photographer. It was a done deal before the end of day and I loved everything about working with this couple.

First of all having Will’s Dad marry them in the church in Penhurst was a first for me and gave their church wedding much deeper meaning (I am excited to be seeing Will’s Dad again this year for another wedding) and the church is such a stunning space as well.

The biggest thing for me was how much Emily & Will love each other. This photo sums that up, which is why I have picked a couples photo for this week. I asked them to have a proper hug and everything about that moment was just perfect and here we have this image. That’s what I strive for in my photos, especially the couple photos, an honest and beautiful photo that shows who my couples really are together.
