A super fun and relaxed wedding in Cumbria with Grace & David.

I am so excited to be sharing Grace & David’s wonderful from 2021! I got to spend not one but two days with them last year. I photographed their micro Wedding at Southwark Registry Office in June and then joined them and their friends & family in Cumbria for the big celebration in August.

I love a micro wedding and I particularly loved this one as Grace & David got married in one of my favourite parts of London: Peckham! It’s such a great area for photos and Grace looked absolutely epic in her bridal suit from The Deck and the bow was the perfect final touch. Post ceremony everyone headed to Crane’s Kitchen for food and speeches which was wonderful!

Then in August I made the trip up North to beautiful Cumbria for the big celebration at Grace’s family home.

I absolutely love an at home wedding, it’s always so personal and a lot of fun. This wedding was no different. Grace & David as well as their friends are really musical so their ceremony which was conducted by friends was filled with so much music. Also, so much love for Joey the dog who was a wonderful wedding guest.

I should note that last August was one of the wettest Augusts I have ever had in my career and it most certainly rained for Grace & David’s wedding. That did not for a second take away from the day. I say it all the time: Rain can be a really positive and fun addition to your wedding, you just have to embrace it and have fun anyway.

I loved capturing Grace & David’s weddings. The happiest of happy days and these are some of my favourite images.
