Pembroke Lodge wedding photography with Angela & Derek.
Wedding season 2022 is well underway and trying to keep up with blogging is definitely more challenging this time of year but I still have a whole bunch of 2021 weddings to show off. It’s also really lovely to relive the wonderful weddings I photographed last year. 2021 went by in such a blur as we dealt with the backlog I didn’t really get to mentally process the work I created.
Today I am sharing with you the wedding of Angela & Derek who had to wait a whole extra year for their wedding BUT they did get to have 4 weddings because of the covid fallout and I was given the privilege of capturing their main London event at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park.
We all started at the Petersham Hotel for prep which was very relaxed. Angela had her friends help her with her hair and she did her own makeup and looked absolutely amazing.
It was then off to Pembroke Lodge and I loved that Angela drove over in a decorated Skoda! The ceremony was lovely with songs sung and readings given by friends. Because they both did the legal bit in 202o Angela & Derek also had a friend conduct the ceremony. I have had this a few times now and I am totally here for it.
The rest of the day was filled with fun, heartfelt speeches, beautiful light and plenty of dancing.
