Wedding at Bury Court Farm in Surrey with Shirley & Albert.
Today on the blog I am sharing the stunning wedding of Shirley & Albert at Bury Court Farm in Surrey.
This day was typical of August 2021 with plenty of rain and plenty of sunshine but that only made the day more amazing. Shirley & Albert were set on an outdoor ceremony despite the forecast and they bravely pushed ahead right up to their guests sitting outside with umbrellas before the sun came back just in time for Shirley’s entrance.
They also had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony earlier in the day and it was so wonderful to be able to photograph not but two meaningful ceremonies.
They had so many personal touches woven into the day. From their nickname Shirbert being playfully used in their favours to giraffes being used throughout as they are Shirley’s favourite animal.
The whole day was perfect from the gorgeous floristry to Shirley’s incredible wedding dress. A favourite moment for me was their first dance which they had practised beforehand and also the use of board games in the evening for guests who didn’t fancy the dance floor, such a great idea for the more introverted wedding guest.
