West Horsley Place wedding photography with Eleanor & Rhodri

West Horsley Place wedding photography

I am soooo excited to be sharing this wedding. Eleanor & Rodri had to wait an extra year to get married, cause you know Covid BUT it was so worth it. This entire day was filled with the biggest amount of joy.

We started off at Eleanor’s family home in Guildford for prep and there was plenty going on with most of Eleanor’s immediate family in situ. The Brilliant Love Hair By Lou was in charge of all things hair and you had Joyce Connor & Mel Kinsman on makeup duty and everyone looked amazing.

Obviously Eleanor looked incredible and was wearing one of my favourite dress designers Margaux Tardits which she bought at The Mews Bridal. I absolutely love Margaux’s dresses because they firstly stunning and have beautiful movement but also they are a dress that you can have a bloody good time in.

The ceremony was held at St Mary’s Church in Guildford, a place that means a lot to both Eleanor & Rodri and it was the perfect church wedding, made personal with readings and performances by friends and family.

It was then on to the reception which was held at the magnificent West Horsley Place. I was so excited about shooting here and it didn’t disappoint. This slightly tumbled down house in Surrey oozes charm and beautiful quirkiness. It has everything, beautiful gardens, stunning interiors and it’s family run and much loved. It’s also a great place if you have a slightly wet wedding as there is no end of wonderful indoor spaces for couple photos including the bathroom!

I think we can all agree as well that the florals by Topiary Tree perfectly complimented both the church and West Horsley Place.

From outdoor games to a Norwegian sing song, Eleanor & Rodri had the most fun filled wedding reception and a bloody good party. I feel so lucky to have been able to capture this day for them. Below are some of my favourites.
