London Wedding Photographer at Hendon Hall with Sherikka & Mac.
Where has the year gone already??
I am already three weddings down in 2018 and already it's been amazing. I have photographed the weddings of three wonderful couples so far and each wedding has been a beautiful and love filled day with so much happiness despite the crazy weather we have had!
Today I have for you the London wedding of Sherikka & Mac and I could not have started the year with a more incredible couple.
This was a day of pure joy.
These guys booked me as their wedding photographer back in 2016! And working with them has been wonderful from their engagement shoot last summer in Canary Wharf to this amazing day at Hendon Hall in North London.
Bridal prep with Sherikka at the hotel was filled with excitement and happiness as she prepared to meet Mac at the church. I think we can all agree that she looked absolutely stunning, Sherikka has one of those smiles that is infectious and capturing the atmosphere of the morning was so much fun!
Their Catholic ceremony was beautiful and I always love a good church wedding so many moments to capture and their ceremony was not short of them.
It was then back to Hendon Hall for the celebrations and of course some couple photos in the grounds. I take my hat off to Sherikka & Mac it was bloody freezing but they still showed up and their love for one another was so easy to photograph so managed to keep it short and sweet before heading back inside.
The speeches at this wedding were just incredible. All three of them from Sherikka's best friend, Mac's brother and Mac himself was emotional, authentically delivered and bloody hilarious. I was in my element as more often than not this is one of my favourite parts of the day. I did have a tear during Mac's speech though when they remembered their grandparents as I lost my Grandad so recently.
All in all this wedding was amazing and more than that working with Sherikka & Mac has enhanced my life as a wedding photographer. It's couples like these guys that really fill my heart and I am so lucky that I fill my diary with amazing people like this year in and year out.
