A gorgeous summer engagement shoot with Toni & Charlie in Boxhill, Surrey.
It’s really starting to get cold now so I thought I would warm you up today with an engagement shoot from the Summer. Toni & Charlie booked me for their 2020 wedding earlier this year and wanted to include a pre-wedding shoot to firstly get comfortable in front of the camera but also because it’s nice to have some great photos of you together as couple. Sometimes selfies and phone snaps don’t quite cut it.
We decided on Boxhill in Surrey for the location and it really doesn’t disappoint with beautiful woodland and stunning views across the Surrey countryside. The day was hot so we met in the early evening to make the most of that soft light we all love at the end of the day.
An engagement shoot is also an opportunity for me to get to know a bit more about my couple. So the next couple of hours was us enjoying a great walk, chatting about the wedding day and other things while grabbing a few photos of Toni & Charlie being Toni & Charlie.
I love all of the images we captured that evening and here are a few. I absolutely can’t wait to photograph their wedding in June next year at the stunning Cripps Barn.
