Loft Studios, Kensal Green, London, wedding venue

The Loft Studios in London is one of my favourites. I have been here several times now and it’s stunning spaces never fail to make it an epic venue for a wedding. They are also one of the few wedding venues in London that have a late license, meaning you can party until 2am. Camilla & Leandro had their beautiful spring wedding there in May 2022 and I don’t know why it has taken me so long to show it off on here.

It’s always such a joy to revisit weddings from a few years ago.

The great thing about Loft Studios as a wedding venue is that you can have the entire day there. Because it’s a fully operating photography studio they have amazing dressing rooms for you to get ready in with lots of space for everyone. It’s also a really dynamic space. You have multiple options for your ceremony and C&L chose Studio One for their ceremony. Beautiful light and the simplicity of the white photo cove as a backdrop with some simple greenery made for a really striking backdrop.

The ceremony was personal and emotional. Camilla also wore one of my favourite dress designers… Jesus Peiro. They create simple & elegant wedding dresses that have a modern cut and Camilla looked incredible.

After the ceremony we used Studio One very briefly for some group photos and couple photos. Documentary photography was really important to these two and they had no interest in spending anymore than 15mins posing and I am totally here for this.

It was then time for confetti, drinks & canapes down in the courtyard, again such a great space and it’s half under cover so you are all good if you have any rain. It’s also a great place for speeches and Camilla’s mum gave one on the steps before everyone headed upstairs to Studio Four.

Studio Four is this HUGE L shaped space upstairs, there are windows all around so lots of natural light, it has a deeply industrial aesthetic which makes it a showstopper of a space when it’s filled with long tables and flowers. This is the perfect place for a wedding breakfast. Loft Studios has a number of great caterers that they work with and can recommend for you.

After the wedding breakfast and speeches we all headed back down to the courtyard for cake cutting and cocktails while the brilliant staff at Loft Studios turned over Studio Four and the band got set up. The rest of the evening was for dancing and celebrating which I got to capture a little of before I said goodbye.

This wedding was such a joy to capture (I mean they all are) and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
