Islington Town Hall & London Pub Wedding with Caitlin and Josh

I always love an Islington Town Hall wedding. It’s one of the most beautiful places in London to get married and the light never fails to bring me joy and create beautiful images. The other reason I love London Town Hall weddings is because they are usually followed by a great pub reception.

That is exactly what Caitlin & Josh did in Autumn 2021 and I had the joy of capturing it.

First of all can we talk about Caitlin’s incredible outfit by Safiyaa! A simple but stunning gown made epic by a gorgeous cape. I am leaning on saying that it was one of my favourites of 2021. Also, I need to mention the cake. This was my favourite of 2021 as it was made by the best bakery in my opinion The Violet Bakery in East London.

We started with prep at Batty Langley’s hotel which is such a gorgeous place in Shoreditch, total moody but elegant vibes and the light was fun! I also loved Caitlin’s huge florals by Untitled Flowers.

We then black cabbed it over to Islington Town Hall for the ceremony which was lovely. Post ceremony we had a walk around Islington for couple photos before heading over to The Coach in Clerkenwell where they had the reception. This pub is perfect for a London wedding, with it’s conservatory at the back and beautiful function room upstairs.

I absolutely loved spending the day with these two and their brilliant friends and family. Everything about the day was so joyful and I loved capturing it, I hope the photos below show that off better than my words.
