Marylebone Town Hall wedding with Kimberly & Jackson.

Marylebone Town Hall Wedding Photographer

I absolutely LOVE photographing weddings at Marylebone Town Hall. It’s such a beautiful and iconic London Town Hall. Kimberly & Jackson booked me for my 3hr micro wedding package which was perfect for their intimate but perfect London Elopement.

Now I am always at least 20mins early to every wedding I photograph as I like to get there well before my couple so I can set up and be ready for their arrival. Turns out Kimberly & Jackson are even more early to things than me and were already inside when I got there and the town hall was quiet so they had almost already started! So no arrival like I normally capture.

The staff at Marylebone Town Hall are always super lovely and helpful. They all recognise me there as it’s definitely become somewhere I shoot a lot these days. Which I don’t mind at all.

This lovely couple had 2 friends and Kimberly’s sister as guests and as most of their family is in Australia they also had a zoom call set up for other people to be able to be there via the power of the internet. This would have seemed so strange before the pandemic and while I have a love/hate relationship with technology I do love it when couples stream their weddings, you can include it so well in the story as a photographer.

After the ceremony we headed outside for confetti after doing some quick couple photos inside. After your ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall they will always give you a few mins on their beautiful stairs for photos.

And yes you can absolutely still have confetti even if you only have 3 guests, just get the bio degradable paper discs as they have a longer and bigger effect than flowers.

We had a few moments to say goodbye to family on the zoom call before doing some couple & group photos outside the town hall before hopping in a cab to go and capture some couple photos in some iconic London locations. This is always a lot of fun and it’s also lovely to capture small moments in the cab.

We then headed back to the building where Kimberly & Jackson used to live as they had hired a room in there with some beautiful views across the river Thames. I stayed to capture a few candids, them cutting their cake and having a cheers outside before leaving them to enjoy their meal and the rest of the afternoon.

This was such a lovely day and I am so happy I got to be a part of it.
