Old Chelsea Town Hall wedding photographer with Cameron & Robb.

Old Chelsea Town Hall wedding photographer

So it’s been a while since I shared a blog post! I am now 8 weddings deep into the 2021 mega season and it is so good to be back photographing weddings again so I thought it was about time that I started sharing some of these wonderful days on the blog.

During the last lockdown I desperately missed being a wedding photographer so I was super happy to be back at work in early May with Cameron & Robb. Obviously back then it was just micro weddings that could go ahead but that doesn’t mean that their isn’t an abundance of moments to capture as a wedding photographer.

We started at Cameron & Robb’s flat near Sloane Square before hopping in a black cab to The Old Chelsea Town Hall where we grabbed some quick couple photos before their guests arrived. I have been deeply impressed with how all the London Town Halls have handled hosting weddings during the Pandemic and Chelsea Town Hall was no exception. They have even invested in a tripod so people can live stream their ceremonies to those who can’t be there.

After the ceremony we headed to those famous steps for some quick photos before the short walk to The Builders Arms. One of my favourite things in our post pandemic world has been how happy other people have been to see couples getting married. Cameron & Robb were greeted by fellow drinkers at the pub with a cheer and a round of shots. People are just so happy to see people getting married.

I have loved all the micro weddings I have photographed in the last 12 months, they really such special days and really represent what it is to be in love and wanting to commit your lives to one another regardless of what is going on in the world.
