A gorgeous wedding at Thames Rowing Club with Eleanor & Adam.

Thames Rowing Club Wedding Photography

Ahhhhh this wedding was so gorgeous! Genuinely one of the happiest most love filled days I have had the pleasure of photographing. Eleanor & Adam chose to have their London wedding at Thames Rowing Club in Putney. I have photographed three weddings at this venue so far and it’s always a joy.

Not only are the staff fantastic but it’s filled with natural light and a great space for a party. It has buckets of charm but enough of a blank canvas that you can make it your own for the day. Also it’s right by the river and the bustling boating world of Putney which makes things really unique for photos. I love what Eleanor & Adam did for the wedding party photos and bought some wellies to get everyone in the river.

This is also a personal spot for these two as Adam’s grandad played a part in the building of the Putney Bridge and it was wonderful that he was also at the wedding. I have a soft spot for grandparents and always make sure I get plenty of photos of them.

I started the day at Eleanor’s family home for prep which was filled with excitement as everyone was getting ready. You will see from the photos but Eleanor is one of the happiest most lovely humans and that very much set the tone for the day. I was instantly made to feel welcome and captured the joyful chaos. I also loved Eleanor’s Jesus Peiro Dress which she got from Miss Bush Bridal.

It was then off to the rowing club in a black cab to get married and I loved this ceremony. Again both Eleanor & Adam are such big hearted people and have successful careers in theatre so the space was filled with emotion. I also LOVED the flowers which were provided by charity florist who donated all the profits to TOFs as it was a condition that Eleanor was born with.

The rest of the day was filled with so much fun. From the Shanty Buoys playing some great music throughout the drinks which escalated to dancing. There was then some epic speeches which included a quiz which I always love as it makes more moments for me to capture. And then it was on to the party.

I have thoroughly enjoyed going through these wedding photos again for the blog. Last summer went by in such a blur as it was so busy that I didn’t get a moment to appreciate my own work so putting these together always makes me happy. I hope you enjoy the photos.
